MEET THE MCESC - BRETT KOPP, INTERVENTION SPECIALIST

Brett Kopp

In getting to know one of our new team members, the question tossed to Brett Kopp was, does he have any special skills or aptitudes.   If its sports related he has several skills or aptitudes.

“I’ve coached varsity football, varsity baseball at some point in time and I am currently the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Bethel,” Kopp said.

In his eighth year of education, it's Kopp’s first year here at the MCESC.  He is an Intervention Specialist at Learning Center North where it’s clear he has another skill, which is building relationships with his students.  It’s one of the reasons he came here to our kids.

“Here, I like the more one on one interaction with the students,” Kopp said.

His musical taste is a lot like his coaching background, eclectic.  Just as he has coached a variety of sports, musically his taste also covers a diverse spectrum.  Brett likes New Country and Old (90’s) Rap.  A little bit eclectic and a desire to help kids develop?  Yep, he will fit right in here at the MCESC.
