Shannon Cox is the superintendent of the MCESC. She replaces Frank DePalma who has retired. Cox officially took over August 1, 2019.
During the 2018-19 school year, Frank and Shannon have worked together to provide a seamless transition to a new leadership team,” Daryl Michael, Jr., MCESC Board President said.
Cox becomes the twelfth MCESC Superintendent and the first women to hold the post in its 105 year history. Cox has served the past two years as the MCESC Associate Superintendent.
“Our board wants to thank Frank for his work while we are excited for our new leadership team to take hold and move us forward,” Michael, Jr. said.
