Career Navigation
Linking students' knowledge, interest and apptitude, to real-world career opportunities
Career Navigators integrate career awareness and exploration into K-8 curricula and guide students from high school to post-graduation using data to match aptitudes and interests with career paths. They facilitate career exploration and planning through job shadowing, career expos, and industry events, while building connections with professionals to provide real-world exposure. Additionally, the role involves academic pathway management, advocating for pre-apprenticeships, work-based learning, and STEM courses. The Navigator also fosters school-community partnerships and engages with parents to support students' career planning and future goals.
