Inside Dayton

Helping students find meaning and purpose to strengthen their interest in school and anchor them in long-term success

Inside Dayton is a two-week paid fellowship designed for high school students who are passionate about problem-solving and innovation. During this program, fellows will work alongside professionals, businesses, and educators in Dayton to address real-world challenges, develop creative solutions, and strengthen connections between local industries and young adults.


WHO: Rising high school sophomores from schools across Montgomery County BAC Member Districts who are eager to explore careers and make a difference.

WHAT: A hands-on, in-person fellowship where students will:

  • Conduct research and explore career pathways
  • Collaborate in group discussions and brainstorming sessions
  • Design innovative career connection activities
  • Present their final project to the Business Advisory Council
