Helping students and educators develop resiliency to create physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy communities

We provide expertise, training, consultation, and direct student prevention programming that develops skills, resiliency, and other protective attributes that will in turn support the overall mental wellness of our  community. Our efforts are intended to prevent a variety of behavioral, mental, emotional, and other health problems to grow a healthier Montgomery County and Ohio.

What is prevention?

Prevention promotes the health and safety of individuals and communities by reducing the likelihood of – or delaying the onset of – behavioral health problems, including substance abuse, mental illness, suicides, problem gambling, and screen disorders. Quality prevention programming supports student mental wellness by decreasing risky behaviors like bullying and substance use while promoting healthy behaviors like refusal skills, stress management, and behavioral self-regulation.
